Roman  – Lead vocals

Roman has worked with many bands over the years.

These have included gigs in sleepy Cooma supporting a band called Geordie with vocalist Brian Johnston who went on to become lead vocalist for ACDC.

Roman’s soul-infused vocals had him moving on to top nightspots such as Chequers in Sydney and as vocalist for Snibbo, doing recording alongside popular bands such as Hush, in addition to live recording.

Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, Ronnie Burns, Ted Mulry, The Mixtures and Renee Geyer were just some of the many topline acts that he supported over the years.

Roman’s fans were known for their enthusiasm, as recorded on the front page of The Canberra Times.

As vocalist for The Old 45s Roman loves to engage with the audience and add new experiences to the memories of the 60s and 70s.
